Project information

Situated partially on former coal mines in Carmarthenshire, a portion of this site will be reserved for preserving the rare Marsh Fritillary butterflies. Additionally, once the solar farm is operational, it will coexist with sheep that can graze among the solar panels.

The project's development was a collaborative effort, with close cooperation between our project team and the local community. Together, they improved the site's layout and ensured that effective visibility screening was in place. As a further commitment to the local community, a community benefit will be donated to the local parish council.

Status

This project received planning permission in 2022, and construction has yet to commence.
